Glue Bubble Texture Background
Instructions by Susan Soyka
Supplies:
Instructions:
- Cut a piece of glossy white cardstock to measure 5 ½"x 4 ¼".
- Place it on a piece of scrap paper, LIBERALLY squirt Sparkle N Sprinkle Brushable Glue on the glossy side and use your finger to spread it around over the entire surface of the cardstock.
- Squirt a drop of colored Pinata or Posh Rainbow ink on top of the glue and swirl it around in the glue. Do the same thing with another color in a different area, etc.
**Hints:- Wear gloves if you don't want colored fingers
- You don't have to cover the entire white area with color; some white can show.
- You can mix colors together, but don't do it too much or it will have a "muddy" appearance.
- After you are satisfied with the look you have achieved, place it on another piece of scrap paper and heat the entire area with a heat gun from top to bottom and side to side until bubbles start to form. Keep heating it until you have a lot of texture and bubbles.
**If it does not bubble, you didn't put on enough Sparkle N Sprinkle Brushable Glue. Now put it aside to dry overnight; this will be the background for the card.
This background technique can also be done with Pearl Ex powders also.
