1. Create 2 frame templates. Cut 4 pcs white cardstock 5-1/2” x 4-1/4”. Use 2 of them for the frame templates. I used MS Word to draw 2 squares (2-1/2” x 3-1/4”, and 3-1/2” x 4-1/4”) aligned and centered. I printed this twice. Then I cut out only the center square on the first pc, and the larger on the other pc using an X-acto knife and a ruler.
2. Center the image by laying the smallest frame template over one of the remaining white pcs. Using VersaMark ink pad, stamp La Masquerade in the center and emboss with black powder.
3. Create 2 black frames. Cut a pc of black cardstock 5-1/2” x 4-1/4”. Using the smallest template cut out the center. Then using the other template cut the largest frame. Glue the smaller frame centered around the image.
4. Cut 4 1” x 6” pcs from the patterned paper. Glue around the 4 sides of the frame, aligning as shown on the card. Glue the other, larger frame over this. Trim all 4 sides approximately 1/8” and glue to the remaining white pc. |
