1. Using VersaMark ink and Black Detail, stamp and emboss C’est Cello on one of the 4.25” x 5.5” --see card for approximate placement. While you have the VersaMark and EP handy, stamp and emboss each side of the piano keys corner separately. Also stamp and emboss the very top part of the Cello, where the tuning pegs attach on a scrap of the same white CS.
2. Cut out the two sides of the piano keys corner. Place the two sides of the keys corner on the Cello embossed CS, so they form a corner that is approx. 3” wide and 4.5” high and allow the Cello to show.
3. When you’re pleased with the arrangement trim the Cello CS to match the size rectangle the keys corner makes. Glue the keys corner pieces to the Cello CS.
4. With the Quickie Glue pen, apply glue to the keys (2 or 3 at a time--you don‘t want the glue to dry before you apply the glitter). Apply the Sparkling Snow to the glued area, tap off the excess glitter. Continue this process until you have glittered all the keys. Also with the glue pen and Sparkling Snow, add glitter to the lines on the tuning peg shape and the small dots around the circular sound hole and up the line where the strings would be.
5. Cut out the tuning peg shape and glue it over the original embossed Cello. It looks nice if this little shape just happens to be a little over the keys.
6. Layer the Cello cardstock on to the Black Glossy CS.
7. Run the card front through the Xyron, adding adhesive to only the front of the card.
8. Layer the Black Glossy piece on the card front at an angle as shown. Apply Sparkling Snow to all the exposed areas of adhesive.
9. Stamp the Cello body with StazOn on another piece of white CS. Cut out the Cello body as 2 separate pieces. Apply Black Ice Glitter using a brush and SnS Brushable Glue. (I glued and glitter about 1/3 of each side at a time--didn’t want the glue to dry before I applied the glitter.
10. Brush SnS Brushable glue on the original embossed Cello body and layer the glittered pieces over the original.
NOTE:
***If you don’t have a Xyron, I would try putting 2-sided tape on the front side--2 rows on each edge--try not to overlap--you want the glittered background to be smooth, OR another possibility would be to use Sparkle N Sprinkle Brushable Glue after mounting the Cello/keys corner piece. |
