1. Score gatefold card using a half sheet of orange cardstock and the Crafter’s Top Score Multiboard.
2. On white cardstock stamp the Spooky Window with Black Staz-on ink.
3. Color in the Spooky Window with Prismacolor Pencils and blend with the Gamsol blending solution.
4. Cut it out and glue with combo of double stick tape and glue marker to first panel of card, leaving half of the image unattached.
5. Now cut out approximately a 1 ¾ inch by 5 inch piece of the black and white pre-printed paper and add to the other panel front.
6. Cut another black and white pre-printed paper about the same size to put inside on the right panel.
7. On the inside of the left panel make a pattern of the black and white pre-printed paper to line the backside of the Spooky Window and to make approximately the same size of panel covering. Attach with tape.
8. On the front of the left panel, stamp the Fright Night saying with black Staz-on ink.
9. On the front of the right panel, add the orange jewels.
10. Now inside stamp the Visit the Web saying.
11. Notice that on this Visit the Web saying is a spider…now just stamp the spider twice more and cut it out. Add the spider just over the top of the window frame so that it will catch and hold the gatefold card shut.
12. To finish the card, take the Dimensional glue and add the Nightfall flocking to the spiders on the front panels, and use the burnt orange for the band of the witch hat. Let dry thoroughly.
ENVELOPES
1. Using pre-made envelopes, I added some of the pre-printed paper to tie it in with the design on the cards. This sort of adds an extra touch. |
