    Instructions : 1. Make a vertical base card 5 ½” x 4 ¼” from light chartreuse cardstock. Set aside.
    2. Pat the X-Static bag on a small area of pink cardstock. Using the VersaMark inkpad and Copper Dreams Detail embossing powder, stamp and emboss the BRUSH FLOWER-LG image on the powdered area.
    3. Brush one or two petals on the flower with Sparkle N Sprinkle Brushable glue, sprinkle Lacy Lilac glitter over the glue and tap off the excess onto a piece of scrap paper. Do this until all the petals are colored.
    4. Using the Quickie Sakura glue pen, apply glue to the middle of the flower and on top of the embossed stem and leaves, sprinkle Parisian Mist glitter over the glue and tap off the excess. Set aside to dry completely.
    5. Hold a large metal brad between your fingers and use a small paintbrush to paint/dab the head and its edges with Sparkle N Sprinkle Brushable glue. Hold it over a piece of scrap paper and pour Lacy Lilac glitter on the glue. Shake it a little to get some of the excess glitter off, replace your fingers with a needle nosed pliers and insert the prongs into a piece of white packing Styrofoam so it is vertical. Repeat the same procedure on another large brad.
    6. Use the same procedure on the third brad, but use Parisian Mist glitter. When the glue is completely dry, give all three brads a second coat of glitter
    7. Cut a piece of the plaid specialty paper to 5 ½”x 4 ¼” to fit on the front of the card. Using a self-healing cutting grid, a box cutter and a ruler, cut the piece into an “L” shape to fit on the left side and bottom of the front of the card as shown. Note: The vertical part is about 1 1/8” wide and the horizontal part is about 1 5/16” tall. Make sure it is going to fit perfectly as shown on the sample card.
    8. Pounce the X-Static bag on the horizontal part of the “L”. Using the VersaMark inkpad and Copper Dreams embossing powder, stamp and emboss the LIFE IS IN saying across the bottom of the “L” piece as shown. Set aside.
    9. After you have given the brads the second coat of glitter and the glue is perfectly dry, attach the glittered brads to the left side of the “L” specialty paper as shown. Note: I used a hole punch.
    10. Use the brush that comes with the rubber cement glue to attach the “L” specialty paper to the front of the card as shown. Note: Rubber cement dries slower than other glues so it gives you more time to position it. Plus, any excess rubber cement is easily removed by rubbing your finger or a rubber cement eraser on it without leaving marks on the cardstock. If there are any open gaps on the edges, dip a toothpick into rubber cement and put the glue under the gaps and hold the paper down for a minute.
    11. Cut the BRUSH FLOWER-LG image into a rectangular shape. (See the sample for the approximate size. Cut a rectangular piece of lilac cardstock a little larger than the image piece to layer underneath it. Attach the two together using double stick adhesive tape. Then attach it to the front of the card with double stick foam adhesive tape as shown.
