Instructions : 1. Make a horizontal base card 6 ½”x 5” from textured hot pink cardstock. Cut a piece of textured purple cardstock smaller than the pink one to use for layering. Set aside without attaching them.
    2. Cut a piece of glossy white cardstock approximately 4” x 6”. Make a Polished Stone background on it. (See “Polished Stone Technique” on our website under “Tips & Techniques.) Set aside and allow it to dry completely.
    3. Cut a piece of drywall plastic mesh tape 5” long. Cut a piece of black cardstock 4 ½”x 2 ¼”. With the sticky side of the mesh tape down, attach it to the very edge on one long side of the cardstock, keeping some excess on both ends **Fold and adhere the excess mesh on the two short edges to the back of the cardstock. Using the VersaMark or black pigment inkpad, liberally apply the ink to the top of the mesh tape; press quite hard so the ink seeps down into the little squares in the mesh. Apply Black Magic embossing powder on the inked tape, tap off the excess and melt the powder with a heat gun. Wait until the piece cools and then repeat the procedure so it has two coats of melted embossing powder. **At this point, you should not see the color of the mesh tape or the cardstock. If you can, you don’t have enough ink on your inkpad. Cut the embossed mesh tape from the backside so you have two squares that measure 2”x 2”. Then cut each square diagonally so you end up with four equal triangles. Set aside.
    4. Using the VersaMark inkpad & Black Detail embossing powder, stamp and emboss Floral-Butterfly Circle in the center of the Polished Stone Background. When it is cool, attach the image piece to the center of the purple cardstock using double stick tape.
    5. Using mini glue dots or embossing tape, attach one of the embossed mesh tape triangles to each corner as shown. If necessary, use a teeny drop of Super gel glue to hold down any unattached corners.
    6. Using the Staz-On Black inkpad, ink only the word, “Hi”, from the saying, “Just Wanted to Say Hi!” and stamp it on a small piece of hot pink cardstock. Put three flat plastic flower shapes in graduated sizes on the back of the purple brad and attach it to the right side of “Hi”. Cut the saying piece to size and attach it to the front of the image piece as shown using double stick adhesive tape. Then attach the whole thing to the front of the card with double stick adhesive tape.
