| Instructions |
: |
1.Stamp “Fishtivities” using StazOn black on smaller off-white piece. Apply sandalwood ink using a stipple brush or sponge, heavier on the edges. Attach to smaller navy blue piece. Set aside.
2.On the larger off-white pc mask off one corner, the size based on the stamp you want to use there. Stipple or sponge antique linen ink on the masked area, and stamp ”Fishing Corner” here. Reposition the mask to cover the edge of this first block. Mask off the second area. Stipple or sponge sandalwood, and stamp “Fishy”. Reposition to cover this second block leaving the first mask in place. Mask the next block, apply denim ink and stamp “Fishing Lure”.
3.Continue to reposition the masks, stipple or sponge ink, then stamp the image until the paper is filled. Loosely plan the layout as you work so the image will fit the block. I stamped a couple of images only partially and it looks OK. I also stippled a second color on some blocks to blend and soften the design.
4.Stamp “Hope” a couple of times. (My attempt at fishing humor.)
5.Using the black marker pen, draw lines between the blocks as shown.
6.Assemble the card using double stick tape, and glue on the shell. |
