1. Make a base card 5 ½” x 4 ¼” from yellow cardstock and round the four corners with the punch.
2. Cut a piece of decorative baseball paper slightly smaller than the front of the base card.
Use the Fiskars Nostalgia corner edger scissors on each corner.
3. Using the VersaMark inkpad and Satin Velvet embossing powder, stamp and emboss Play Ball on white cardstock. Color in the image with Prisma colored pencils.
4. Cut the image to size and use the Fiskars Nostalgia corner edger on each corner. Apply Sky chalk for the background using a finger and an eye shadow foam applicator. Spray the image piece twice to set the chalk.
5. Cut a slightly larger piece of yellow cardstock for it to be mounted on and round all four corners with the corner punch. (See card for approximate sizes) Attach the two together with double stick tape. Attach the two yellow brads to opposing corners.
6. Mount the image piece to the upper left corner of the baseball paper with double stick foam tape and the computerized saying to the lower right corner using double stick tape.
7. Cut two pieces of twine, tie them together and fray the ends. Use a bit of super gel glue on a toothpick to anchor the knot in place. Do the same in a spot midway between the knot and the side of the paper on each side to secure the extended twine pieces to the paper. Secure the ends on the back of the baseball paper with double stick tape.
8. Attach the baseball paper to the front of the card with double stick tape |
